Welcome back to The Closed Door. I am Marcus Oyelaran. Last time I promised you something I have wanted to do for years, which is let teenagers talk about their phones without a parent in the room. So today I have three students from my school, 14, 16 and 17, names changed, parents' permission signed, and a promise from me that I would not interrupt. They talk about what the phone actually is to them, why a group chat is not just a group chat, the things they have seen that they never mentioned at home, and the rules they say they would accept if someone asked instead of told.
