Hello again, and welcome back under the mango tree. I am Dilhani, this is Lantern Under the Mango Tree, and tonight the lantern is swinging a little, because a cold wind has come all the way from Norway. That is where our story lives. In a valley between two mountains there is a stone bridge, and under the bridge there is a troll. He is not a scary troll. He is a tired, grumpy troll who wants four goats from everyone who crosses. The trouble is, he has only ever learned to count to three. A shepherd girl called Signe is walking towards that bridge right now with exactly three goats. What do you think she will do? Snuggle down, close your eyes, and let us find out. You are listening on Witspeak Podcasts, the home of gentle stories for sleepy ears.
