Tonight's story is called Every Door Opens Outward. A man called Lionel buys a house outside Houma, in the bayou, for a price that should have worried him. On the first evening he notices that every door in the house opens outward: the bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen cupboards. In a drawer he finds the previous owner's notes, one page for each door, and he starts reading them in order. We recorded the sound in a real house, using the doors themselves.
