Shalom, hola, and welcome to Questions at the Shabbat Table. I am Ezequiel Rosenfeld. I grew up in a Jewish family in Buenos Aires that went to synagogue twice a year, and at 34, for reasons I will get to, I sat down with a page of Talmud and could not get up. This show is that page, opened for anyone. One question, one text, one guest, 35 minutes. Today, the thing that shocked me first. The Talmud records the arguments it lost. It keeps the wrong answers next to the right ones, and sometimes says both are the words of the living God. As a lawyer, that broke my brain a little. Rabbi Miriam Szwarc joins me to explain why a tradition would do that on purpose. You are listening on Witspeak Podcasts.
