Is podcast hosting on Witspeak really free?
Yes, with unlimited episodes and no bandwidth charges. Uploads can be up to 500 MB each, and your show gets an RSS feed, a web player, embeds and analytics at no cost.
Which apps will my podcast appear in?
Your RSS feed can be submitted to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Overcast and Pocket Casts, and it works in any app that supports standard RSS. The studio shows you where to submit it.
Can I move an existing podcast to Witspeak?
Yes. Import your existing feed in the studio, keep your episodes and GUIDs, and set a redirect from your old host so subscribers follow you without doing anything.
What artwork and audio formats do I need?
Upload a square image between 1400 and 3000 px (JPEG or PNG) and we produce the sizes Apple requires. Audio can be MP3, WAV, M4A or most common formats; we convert everything to a clean 128 kbps MP3 and master it to -16 LUFS.
How do podcast analytics work?
You see downloads and streams per episode, the apps people listen in, the countries they are in and how each release performs in its first week. Listeners are counted with a daily rotating hash, with no cookies and no personal data.
Do I keep the rights to my podcast?
Always. You own your audio and your feed, and you can export everything or redirect your RSS to another host whenever you like.
