About the show

Page Ninety is a show about the craft of writing for the screen, named for the point in a script where most writers discover whether their second act actually works. Lenore Castellanos has written for network television and two produced features, and she spent six years reading scripts for a studio, which means she has seen the same mistakes thousands of times and made most of them herself. Every Monday she takes one craft problem, the scene that will not end, the character who only reacts, the outline that dies on contact with dialogue, and works through it with examples from produced screenplays and a guest writer who has solved it. Episodes run 30 to 40 minutes and end with a short exercise you can do before the next one. It is for working writers, students and the quietly serious hobbyist with a draft in a drawer.
