Third Row Centre is a weekly film club for people who like to argue about a movie on the walk home. Marama Whitcombe programmes a small independent cinema in Wellington, and each week she and a rotating guest, a projectionist, a critic, a friend who has never seen Casablanca, watch one film and talk it through for about 45 minutes. One week it is a restored Satyajit Ray print, the next a 90s action film nobody will admit to loving. The conversation covers what the film is doing, when it was made and why it still lands or no longer does, and ends with a short listener voice-note segment where you can send your own take through the app. Spoilers are flagged with a timestamp so you can watch first. It is for anyone who misses having someone to talk to after the credits roll.
