Howzit, welcome, I am Sipho Radebe and this is Load Shedding, With Sketches. If the audio cuts out halfway through, that is not a metaphor, it is just Tuesday. Tonight I am finally telling the surprise party story. My cousin Thabo planned the whole thing around the load shedding schedule, which is like planning a picnic around a horoscope. Forty people hiding in my flat, lights off on purpose, and at the exact moment they were supposed to come on, the whole block went dark for real. Forty people shouted surprise at a black room and the only one who reacted was my dog.
