About the show

Nollywood Front Row is a weekly interview show about the industry that went from VHS tapes sold in Alaba market to streaming deals and festival premieres in one generation. Ifeoma Okeke has produced four features in Lagos and spent years in the trenches of financing, casting and distribution, so her conversations with directors, editors, costume designers, marketers and the actors who built the business go past the red carpet into how a film actually gets made and sold in Nigeria. Episodes run about 40 minutes and are released every Friday, with a monthly deep-dive on a classic title like Living in Bondage or Osuofia in London. It is for Nigerians at home and abroad who grew up on these films, for anyone curious about how Nollywood works, and for young filmmakers who want practical answers from people who have already made the mistakes.
