About the show

Lucas Ferreira Prado has had the same best friend since the first day of primary school in Belo Horizonte, and he has always wanted to know how other people's friendships survive distance, marriage, money, illness and plain old growing apart. Still Friends After All This is a weekly conversation, about thirty-five minutes, with two people who have been friends for at least fifteen years. They sit together and answer Lucas's questions about the friendship directly, in front of each other, which turns out to be something most friends have never done. Guests have included two Tunisian women who met in a refugee camp, two Australian men who have played the same board game every Thursday since 1998, a pair of Indian cricket teammates who no longer speak to each other's wives, and the two Brazilian nuns who taught Lucas in year three. For anyone who has a friend they have not called in a while, and anyone who wants to be a better one.
