Transcript
Good morning, it is Monday, and this is Ten Before Nine. I am Priya Nathan. Five stories, ten minutes, and then you can get on with your day. First, the ceasefire that was agreed on Friday evening has made it through the weekend, and I will tell you what held it together and what could still break it. Second, a central bank that everyone expected to move has decided to wait, and that matters for your mortgage and your savings. Third, a port that has been closed for three weeks is open again, which is good news if you have been waiting on a delivery. Then the floods, and a small airline story that will interest anyone flying this week. Let us begin. You are listening on Witspeak Podcasts.
