About the show

Last Light on Kepler Dock is a serialised science fiction audio drama in 30-minute chapters, released fortnightly, written and performed by Tamsin Ngata from Wellington. Kepler Dock is a refuelling station at the edge of a trade route that no longer needs it, with a crew of nine, a reactor on its last certified year, and a company back home that has stopped answering messages. Then a ship arrives that is not on any schedule. The story is told through the station's logs, crew recordings and the quiet conversations in the galley, with a small cast of New Zealand actors and sound design built from real harbour recordings. Each chapter follows directly from the last, so start at chapter one. It is for listeners who like their science fiction slow, human and close, more about what people owe each other than about lasers. Content is suitable for teenagers and up.
