Second Act Ledger is a weekly interview show for anyone whose career took a detour they did not choose. Declan Hoare sits down with people who were made redundant at 48, left an industry that collapsed under them, or walked away from a job that was quietly making them ill, and asks what the first six months actually looked like. The guests are not celebrities. They are a former print journalist now running a logistics team, a chef who retrained as a radiographer, a bank manager who became a secondary school teacher. Each episode runs around 40 minutes and follows the same shape: the ending, the messy middle, the first small win, and what they would tell someone standing where they once stood.
